Allegiant is a claims management company. You do not have to use one to make a complaint. If your bank turns down your complaint, you can take it to the Financial Ombudsman Service yourself, for free. If your bank has failed and your investment was protected, you can claim from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme yourself, also for free.
We will review your claim, gather evidence and decide the best way to take it forward. Some claims we handle ourselves. For larger or more complex cases, like many scam claims, we may recommend referring you to a partner law firm called GPS Law Ltd who trade as Legal Reclaim. If we do, we will explain why before you decide. If you agree to a referral, you will sign separate paperwork with GPS Law Ltd, who will then run the claim from that point. The choice will remain fully yours.
